Our Purpose
Our purpose is to establish a free, publicly accessible knowledge center to understand, discuss, and publish contemporary and historical issues that affect women, people of color, and other historically silenced minorities. KFE seeks to foster comprehensive scholarship in philosophy, history, and the social sciences accessible to everyone- and most importantly bring the often unheard and voiceless minorities by bringing them to the forefront of mainstream media. Broaden your perspectives and gain critical thinking skills.
What We Do
Making a Difference

Knowledge Night
Teaching- and Learning
OurKFE visits various schools and districts to foster an interest in the humanities and encourage critical thinking skills. Our lesson plans are planned for audiences ranging from 1st grade scholars to the high school level and beyond.
PERSPECTIVES Workshops
Expanding Your View
Our PERSPECTIVES workshop explore various viewpoints and methods on how to approach literature and historical texts. Unlike what is traditionally taught in classrooms, we advocate alternative angles of examining text such as post-colonialism and feminist criticism.
